With traders becoming a bit more anxious and worried about what the next chapter will be after the stimulus package of 2008/09 runs out, the Dow extended its' downward slump for the longest period of time since 2002.
Likewise, the S&P suffered similar losses--it's worst clip since 2008.
Not since March 18 has the stock market been this sluggish. With consumer getting more strapped, expect basic staples like corn and wheat to increase in price until more supplies of oil can help stabilize the price of a gallon of gas.
