How to avoid trading' Mistakes ? ,,, Why we feel charts sometimes disappoint us ?
Hello Everyone ..
In this discussion we'll try to discuss and see:
1- what mistakes that traders fall in
2- why we find some obvious opportunity in some chart while there's some missed factors that will could make the expected scenario fail? like why we see a double top pattern for example, with breach for it's neckline while the price didnt go to complete the targets!

and dow jones did the same, after recording top level at the end of april the crash happened and now some big reversal pattern could affect for more correctional action

yes ,, you are right , its a double top, and it didnt even make the first target ( 61.8%) and pulled back to incline again.
well, the failure factor for this pattern is that the neckline breach was through the gap highlighted in pink color, and since this gap should be covered, then the index inclined above the breached neckline and this was the ruiner for this double top structure.
