- I have been in the hedge fund industry for almost 20 years. I started my career as an analyst in a global emerging markets hedge fund trading and analyzing just about everything under the sun. After 7 years became the firms head of risk for all the firm's alternatives. Left aftera year because I didn't enjoy being a marketing tool rather than a part of the process. Did a stint allocating to hedgef unds for a very large pension and then somehow found my way into marketing/COO roles over the last several years. Still love to trade though.
